This episode we celebrate one year of No Quarters AND present our 2010 Favorites of the Year or FOTYs. There’s too many Games of the Year out there so we wanted to do it up right and throw down some FOTYs. Before we get to that we review NBA Jam, Call of Duty: Black Ops and BJ enters into the world of Gears of War 2 finally.
Second half it’s all FOTY talk as we break down the best of the year (and maybe last year) as we go through our various made up categories. Enjoy!
NQcast18 – ‘Sipping A FOTY’ Show Notes
First half!
- NBA Jam (Sigh… How do you spell disappointment?)
- NBA Street 2 (The last truly great NBA Jam?)
- NFL Blitz (BJ wants this to get the NBA Jam graphical treatment.)
- SSX (Maki wants this series to return. Desperately. He’s the only one.)
- Call of Duty: Black Ops (Doing barrel rolls! Annually! CODBLOPS!)
- Gears of War 2 (BJ joins the fun and discovers just how awesome horde mode is.)
- Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit (Hey, no DJ Atomica! We suggest you play as the cops, by the way.)
