NQcast70 – Hard Drive in Hightown

First half!

  • 1:42 Bloodborne (It’s Demon’s/Dark Souls in a different setting! So of course Maki likes it.)
  • 17:48 Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (Harlo loses his badass rank but gains a Pre-Sequel, so it all works out and he thinks it’s worth it!)
  • 29:49 Slender: The Arrival (We all officially review the PS4 and One versions of this horror game and enjoy it! It does what Alien: Isolation wanted to do, only better, and it’s only $10!)
  • 47:05 Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious (We all get free achievements in this glorified demo for Forza Horizon 2!)
  • 55:28 Mario Party 10 (Harlo’s Wii U corner continues with Waluigi Number One!)

Second Half! (1:04:46)

  • 1:04:56 Dragon Age: Inquisition (The game has turned a corner for Chuck, and it’s really clicked now that they’ve done the “hour 16 of 24” thing!)
  • 1:10:32 Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (Maki thinks this New Game+ version is worth it if you want this game on One or PS4, but not as much on PC, especially if you already had the DLC.)
  • 1:15:22 Elite: Dangerous (Now it’s on Steam! And Harlo has finally been to earth! In space!)
  • 1:24:16 Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved (Chuck clues us into free upgrades that make the game much easier to get into. Its more Geometry Wars, so play it!)
  • 1:25:39 Game Room (Chuck also lets us know that you can’t connect to Game Room anymore. So for all one of you that wants your retro game fix on 360, head elsewhere.)
  • 1:28:30 LA Cops (It’s a Hotline Miami clone, so take that as you will.)
  • 1:30:14 Battleblock Theater (Chuck really likes this charming puzzle game from The Behemoth.)
  • 1:32:45 Surgeon Simulator PS4 (Harlo’s prowess on PC does NOT translate over to a controller version, but it’s still dumb fun.)
  • 1:35:32 Tennis In The Face (It’s Angry Birds! on the PS4! Do what you will with that information.)
  • 1:37:50 Zombie Driver: Ultimate Edition (It feels kind of like a mobile game port, but it’s fun in really small doses. It just makes us want the Strike games, though.)
  • 1:41:21 Maki replaces his PS4 hard drive and adds USB to his Xbox One (This process is way easier than you think it would be, and recommended for people driven insane by their 500gb discs being full constantly.)
  • 1:45:36 Xbox 360s can now recognize 2tb USB drives (If you didn’t shoot your 360 into the sun, copy all your DLC and stuff onto your sweet USB drive!)
  • 1:51:10 E-mail Corner!
  • 1:51:15 Jax Arcade Expo May 1-3! (Check it out at www.jaxarcadex.com)
  • 1:53:00 Dave AKA Robop1g wants to know what we would do in a 24-hour game stream, what we think can be done to eliminate online asshats, and also wants your help with Operation Supply Drop. Check it out at tiny.cc/Robop1g
  • 2:03:08 Cory wants to know our favorite feature of last gen that hasn’t necessarily made its way into this generation yet.
  • 2:08:16 Sunny California wants to know what our most played Steam game is and how we feel about all the time we’ve spent in it.
  • 2:13:01 The Other JZee wants to know what we think about Mortal Kombat X having a tournament on twitch before the game is released.
