First half!

  • LA Noire (We talk about it. A LOT. And we KINDA like it. Sorta.)
  • Duke Nukem Forever (We rally against an entire continent getting it before AMERICA.)
  • Mortal Kombat (We get into pre-order bonus insanity!)
  • CODBLOPS: Call of the Dead (Harlo answers the Call of the Dead and it seems to be the most meta thing ever in a COD game…)
  • Portal 2 (We have all officially beaten it! BJ feels it is, ahem, whelming.)
  • Kinect Adventures (BJ finds out how to shut off pictures! Success!)
  • Split Second (Maki gets first in everything, including the terrible Detonator races!)
  • Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit (Maki keeps playing it despite really not enjoying it. He’s sorta stupid like that.)

Second Half (1:00:02)

  • Vin Diesel Wheelman (Chuck makes us salivate over this game. It sounds like the answer to all our prayers. Chuck disagrees but we don’t care.)
  • Prince of Persia (2008) (It makes Harlo’s eyes bleed. Honestly, the visual style messed up his eyes and made him tired. Weird, huh?)
  • Far Cry 2 (BJ enjoys the pretty fire and nature and stuff.)
  • Red Faction Armageddon (We discuss the demo and how we might consider getting it, even if it’s not open world anymore.)
  • You Don’t Know Jack (Harlo beats every episode and grabs a bunch of DLC. It’s getting into obsession territory…)
  • Tekken 6 (We bring Maki’s retired samurai girlfriend out of retirement, at least for one night of fighting. Tekken reminds us just how good MK is, though.)
  • WWE All-Stars (Harlo unlocked everyone! At least, everyone that’s in the game. Which is not every wrestler ever, sadly.)
  • Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue (Harlo cracks 60k gamerscore by getting 100% in it! )
  • House of the Dead Overkill PS3 (The Best Lightgun Shooter Ever on the platform that is best ever for lightgun shooters!)
  • Demolition!
    • Gatling Gears (It’s like Assault Heroes but even cooler! Still waiting for it to go on sale, though.)
    • Outland (It’s a lot like Shadow Complex! Still waiting for it to go on sale, though.)
    • D&D: Daggerdale (Harlo fishes for negative box quotes. We don’t think they’ll use them.)

Value Picks! (1:45:20)

  • Far Cry 2 (BJ hopes that nobody has picked this before! He’s right and fire and broken guns rule!)
  • God of War: Chains of Olympus (Maki likes this PSP game, in spite of the controls being on PSP!)
  • Mass Effect 2 (Harlo reminds everyone that we like it and have talked about it a lot!)
  • LA Noire Strategy Guide (Chuck destroys our value pick system by recommending this. Thanks, Chuck.)
  • Wheelman (Chuck gives us a real pick. If you’ve listened to him talking about it you know to get this on eBay. Or on PC.)
